Connect Allied Health provides speech therapy for adults across Adelaide.
Our speech pathologists support a range of communication, voice, swallowing, and cognitive needs. As a registered NDIS provider with clinics in Norwood, Modbury and Berri, we offer flexible ways to access support.
Home visits and telehealth are also available, making it easier to fit therapy into your daily life.
How We Support Adults with Speech Therapy
Every adult’s communication needs are different. Our speech pathologists take the time to understand your goals and tailor support to what matters most in your daily life.
- Communication after stroke or brain injury: Assessment and support for people who may experience changes in communication following neurological events, with a focus on participation in everyday interactions.
- Voice concerns: Assessment and practical strategies for voice strain, fatigue, hoarseness, or changes in pitch and tone that affect daily communication.
- Fluency and stuttering: Approaches informed by current clinical research and practice to support more effective communication in situations that are important to you.
- Swallowing difficulties (dysphagia): Assessment and management to support safer and more comfortable mealtimes.
- Cognitive-communication: Support for attention, memory, planning, and problem-solving skills that can influence communication and day-to-day activities.
- Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC): Exploring tools and strategies to support communication when verbal speech is limited, based on your preferences and goals.
Individual outcomes vary. Your speech pathologist will discuss your goals and what progress may look like for your situation during your initial consultation.
