For Adults

We provide speech pathology services to adults who have a disability or post a range of medical issues, including neurological diseases (such as Parkinson’s Disease and Motor Neurone Disease), stroke, and many other issues, to target the following areas:
  • Swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
  • Speech (intelligibility/clarity).
  • Expressive language (use of words, sentences, gestures and writing to convey meaning).
  • Receptive language (understanding).
  • Voice.
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (ACC), e.g., iPad.
  • Tracheostomy.
  • Improve the appearance of texture-modified foods, including appealing recipes for smoothly pureed diets.
